1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms are an agreement between you and Veteran EMS Consulting LLC. By creating an account, buying a subscription, or using AcuityForge, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement.
2. Educational use only
AcuityForge is a clinical training simulation. It does not provide medical advice, certification, continuing-education credit unless expressly stated, online medical control, or authorization to practice. Simulated findings and outcomes do not replace current evidence, local protocols, scope of practice, medical direction, or clinical judgment. Never delay or alter real patient care because of AcuityForge.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your password confidential, and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorized access. One learner account is for one person unless an organization plan expressly allows otherwise. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
4. Acceptable use
You may use AcuityForge for lawful education and training. You may not attempt to bypass access controls, share paid access, scrape or reproduce the scenario library, reverse engineer protected portions of the service, interfere with other users, test the service with malicious code, or enter real patient identifiers or protected health information.
5. Plans and recurring subscriptions
The Free plan currently includes three completed or started adaptive calls per calendar month. Pro is offered at $9.99 per month or $79 per year unless a different price is clearly shown before checkout. Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the selected interval until canceled. Before purchase, Stripe Checkout displays the price, billing interval, and amount due.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel online at any time from Account & Plan through the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless otherwise required by law. Access remains available through that date, and you will not be charged for the next renewal. See our Refund Policy.
7. Service changes
We may improve, add, remove, or modify features, scenario content, plans, or pricing. Price changes apply prospectively and will be communicated as required by law. We may suspend access to protect users, investigate misuse, comply with law, or maintain service security.
8. Ownership and feedback
AcuityForge software, branding, scenarios, ECG renderings, text, graphics, and other content are owned by VEC or its licensors and protected by law. We give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for personal or authorized organizational training. If you provide feedback, you permit us to use it without restriction or compensation.
9. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AcuityForge is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free simulations, diagnostic accuracy for real patient care, or any particular educational, examination, employment, or clinical outcome.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VEC and its owners, employees, contractors, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or real-world clinical decisions. Our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid VEC for AcuityForge during the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
11. Governing law and contact
Georgia law governs these Terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Georgia, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise. Contact legal@acuityforge.app or info@veteranemsconsulting.com.
