1. Who we are
AcuityForge is operated by Veteran EMS Consulting LLC (“VEC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy applies to AcuityForge websites, learner accounts, simulations, billing, and related communications.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, password hash, verification status, and account security records.
- Training information: scenario selections, commands, assessments, treatments, scores, critical errors, progress, and debrief activity.
- Subscription information: plan, billing status, renewal date, and Stripe customer and subscription identifiers. We do not store full payment-card numbers.
- Technical and security information: device and browser information, approximate IP-derived location, logs, cookies, session identifiers, and fraud or abuse signals.
- Communications: support requests and messages you send to us.
3. How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts; deliver adaptive simulations; remember learner progress; calculate scores and entitlements; process subscriptions; send verification, recovery, billing, and service messages; prevent abuse; troubleshoot problems; improve AcuityForge; and comply with legal obligations.
4. Patient information
AcuityForge is a training product, not a patient-record system. Do not enter real patient names, dates of birth, addresses, medical-record numbers, photographs, or other identifying health information. Scenario content should be fictional or de-identified.
5. Service providers and disclosures
We share information only as reasonably necessary with vendors that help operate the service, including Stripe for payments and subscription management, Resend for account email, and hosting, security, and analytics providers. We may also disclose information to comply with law, protect users and the service, investigate abuse, or complete a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information.
6. Cookies and sessions
AcuityForge uses essential cookies to keep you signed in, protect account actions, and maintain service security. Blocking essential cookies may prevent account and training features from working.
7. Retention and security
We retain account and training records while your account is active and as reasonably needed for service delivery, security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices
You may update billing details and cancel a subscription through the account portal. You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by emailing privacy@acuityforge.app. We may need to verify your identity, and some records may be retained where legally required or necessary for security and legitimate business records.
9. Children and international use
AcuityForge is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. The service is operated from the United States. If you access it elsewhere, your information may be processed in the United States.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date. Questions may be sent to privacy@acuityforge.app or info@veteranemsconsulting.com.
